Island Gallery is an interactive CD-Rom (for Macintosh) experienced as a QuickTime Virtual Reality (QTVR) landscape. A navigable computer-generated 3D Island has been created which includes interactive video, animation, stereo sound and music. Twelve artists have been invited to respond to the particularities of this environment and have contributed integrated works which range from video and animation, interactive compilations of images and sounds to 3D environments and lightworks.
